ACQUATalks was created in 2018 to engage area brokers in real conversations about the selling of luxury real estate in South Florida – the pros, the cons, and the solutions that will affect us all. After the talk, guests enjoy a light breakfast and mingle.

In less than a year, The Estates at Acqualina laser-focused AcquaTalks presentations became the must-attended event for the local broker community turning it into a monthly series of educational lectures. Because the Miami-area real estate industry had been flocking to The Estates for enriching lectures when the Pandemic hit early 2020 it was just natural to transition to an online event. ACQUATalks is one of the most acclaimed broker events in Florida with now more than 40 chapters and thousands of brokers registered.

Chapter 1(July 25, 2018) with Daniel Serber, a well-known and frequent speaker on business and investment opportunities between the U.S and Latin America – on the timely subject of How To Best Represent Foreign Buyers.

Chapter 2 (August 22, 2018) with Johnathan Robertson, guest lecturer on private equity at Harvard University, Director for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation, and Director for the Museum of Discovery and Science. Johnathan shared his words of wisdom on the subject of GETTING TO YES – Negotiating skills and strategies without giving in.

Chapter 4 (November 12, 2018) with Liza Walton on the subject of Social Media Best Practices. Guests heard all about the perks and perils of online engagement with their target audience, through the career experiences of Liza Gallardo Walton – principal at Miami Social Media and executive board member of multiple community cultural organizations.

Chapter 5 (January 16, 2019) with MLS specialist Andreina Monserratte on the subject of How Agents Can Optimize MLS Data. Andreina discussed the different ways to use MLS information in the new consumer-direct environment.

Chapter 6 (February 22, 2019) with Alex Vidal of Related ISG International Realty revealed how his 21 years of experience in sales and management helped create a pathway to success. Alex shared all his tips and insights on the subject of Reaching Your Goals.

Chapter 7 (March 13, 2019) with a social media panel discussion led by Liza Gallardo Walton of Miami Social Marketing. The panel of experts included: Marlene de Cespedes, Director of Luxury Sales at Douglas Elliman, Orlando Montiel, Founder of The Montiel Organization and Premier Listings represented by Brett Jordan Haller, Director of Expansion, and David Haller, Director of Creative Marketing. More than 50 brokers attended and learned tips and secrets of using social media in real estate.

Chapter 7 (April 10, 2019) with Gaston Schneider, mortgage lender for the Q Kapital Group on the subject of How to Pre-qualify a Client.

Chapter 8 (May 8, 2019) with prominent Real Estate Attorney John Ioannou from Florida Closing & Escrow sharing the latest market and legal updates plus some insightful tips on how to close real estate deals. Michael Goldstein, president of sales for The Estates at Acqualina, introduced the new Penthouse Collection and shared some news about the “Golden Toothbrush” campaign: it’s all your clients need to move in to a customized fully furnished residence.

Chapter 9 (June 5, 2019) with Seth Kaufman, managing broker of One Sotheby’s International Realty and discussed the all-important topic: Keys To The Mindset Of The Most Successful Real Estate Agents.

Chapter 10 (September 11, 2019) with Craig Studnicky, co-founder and CEO of International Sales Group & RelatedISG led a lively discussion about The State of Miami’s Residential Market and Acqualina’s developer Jules Trump was in attendance. Guests mingled in the Grand Salon of The Mansions, enjoyed popcorn and snacks inside the intimate Movie Theatre and met with Acqualina’s on-site stellar sales team including Michael Goldstein, Yansy Checa, Adriana Vargas-Hernandez, Karina Serber Batievsky and Marla Cohen.

Chapter 11 (October 16, 2019) with Valerio Spinaci, an NLP Certified Trainer, attorney at law and President of Opera Real Estate Investment, led a discussion on “building rapport with your clients using neuro linguistic programming (NLP).” He impressed the audience with how NLP techniques can help you better connect with your clients and in fact, everyone you meet.

Chapter 12 (November 7, 2019) with Michelle Tillis Lederman’s, an energetic, fun and captivating speaker that engaged the sold-out crowd with a compelling talk about How to Get What You Want.  Michelle inspired the crowd and all attendees received a signed copy of her new book titled, The Connector’s Advantage – 7 Mindsets to Grow Your Influence and Impact.

Chapter 13 (February 5, 2020) with award-winning designers Isabel Tragash and Jonathan Cabrera-Caruso of STA Architectural Group, Ricardo Britto of Luxury Living Group, Russell Glotfelty of Axiom Fine Art Consulting and led by President of Sales Michael Goldstein, the panelists shared their approach to designing spaces and focused on curated interior designs, furniture and art.

Chapter 14 (March 11, 2020) with Speaker Johnathan Robertson. Guests were inspired as Johnathan delivered Part Two in his series, “Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In.” There was a lot of audience participation and everyone left highly motivated with great tools to use for their next real estate negotiation.
